• Co-ordinates and provides a link between committee members and ensures that the membership are informed about what the group is doing and that their requirements are met through the programme of events
• Holds regular structured meetings, ensuring that purpose and deliverables are valid
• Encourages young people to take part in the running of the group, by holding positions on the committee
